Shaped canvas, MDF, HD video projector, video camera, video file, computer and electronics
Dimensions: 70” x 168¼” x 38¼”
Edition of two and one artist's proof
Two shaped canvases form the equivalent of the frustum of a projector as seen along a wall and interrupted by a corner--the projected light continues a short ways along the adjacent wall. An unseen micro video camera installed in the corner monitors the viewer and space. The real-time image is superimposed with an image of the artist testing the distortion of the projected light in the studio mirroring the same setup the viewer is confronted with.
